At First Healthcare Services, we are committed to supporting the educational needs of children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN). Upon admission, we collaborate with virtual schools to identify the most suitable education placement for each child or young person. If a formal education placement is delayed or undergoing changes, we offer up to 28 days of in-house tutoring to ensure continued learning during the transition.

Although Bainton Grove is not registered as a school, we work closely with local schools to facilitate education for young people in our care. Our staff team provides transportation to and from school and offers additional support with homework and study sessions, encouraging the child’s academic progress.

We believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Each young person is encouraged to develop essential life skills that will support both their personal growth and future professional development. This holistic approach ensures that children not only excel academically but also gain practical skills necessary for independent living.

At First Healthcare Services, we prioritize creating a positive, nurturing environment that fosters a love for learning. Our goal is to help every child achieve their full potential, empowering them with the education, skills, and confidence needed to transition successfully into adulthood and beyond.
